Change-of-mind returns

We do not accept returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Please choose carefully and check product details before purchasing.

This does not affect your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us at office@littlebeastspetshop.nz as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.

Include your order number, a description of the problem and, where helpful, photographs. We will assess the issue and provide a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

You do not need to have the original packaging to raise a claim about faulty goods.

How to start a return

Please contact us before sending an item back so we can provide return instructions and arrange the appropriate next steps.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty or otherwise fails to meet the consumer guarantees, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs. Please discuss the return method with us before paying for postage.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for change of mind. Replacements for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods will be handled in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Refunds

Where a refund is required, we will confirm the arrangements with you after assessing the issue. Refunds will normally be made to your original payment method unless we agree otherwise.

Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to process and display the refund. Please contact us if an approved refund has not appeared within a reasonable time.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws.

Our change-of-mind restrictions do not apply where you are entitled to a remedy under those laws.
